This year was all about community, creativity, and continuing to represent San Francisco the way we know best. From collaborations and festivals to art shows, custom printing, and giving back, here’s a look at what we’ve been up to.

Collaborative Collections

Collaboration has always been at the core of San Franpsycho, and this year we teamed up with artists and partners who share our love for The City.

  • Year of the Snake Tee – We worked with local artist Melanie Getman on our first ever Lunar New Year-inspired Year of the Snake tee celebrating culture and creativity. Look out for the next one, the Year of the Horse!

  • Erik Abel Collection – We reunited with Erik Abel, the world renowned artist behind our original logo, on a collection inspired by surf, nature, and life in San Francisco.

  • Outside Lands – We were proud to be official merch partners for another year of the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival, designing a festival-exclusive tee, hoodie, and hat.

  • Grateful Dead Exclusive Print – We created an exclusive collaborative print with the Grateful Dead, blending their iconic legacy with our San Francisco roots.

  • Dirtybird Collaboration – We partnered with Dirtybird Records to celebrate their 20 year anniversary and create a collaborative collection shaped by decades of Bay Area culture, music, creativity and connection.

Giving Back

Supporting our community is a big part of who we are. This year, we donated to organizations doing important work across The City and beyond:

  • American Indian Cultural Center – Supporting Native American culture, advocacy, and education in San Francisco. Our founder Christian was also featured in a video interview with AICC to help share their mission.

  • SF LGBT Center – Providing resources, advocacy, and a welcoming space for The City’s LGBTQ+ community.

  • City Surf Project – Empowering underserved youth through mentorship, confidence-building, and connection to the ocean.

  • ACLU – Defending civil liberties and fighting for equal rights.

  • SF Baykeeper – Protecting and restoring the San Francisco Bay for future generations.

We’re grateful to support organizations that care for our people, our rights, and our environment.

Art & Community

Art continues to be a huge part of San Franpsycho. This year, we launched a new in-store art show series curated by Sam Apollo Fisher, highlighting local artists. We also participated in the skateboard deck art show at 111 Minna Gallery, featuring a custom hand-painted SFP deck, by local artist Paula Eberle.

Merch Partnerships

We partnered with events across The City to create custom merch, including Sunset Mercantile, SF Sketchfest, SF Music Week, Cherry Blossom Festival, An Evening with Kruk & Kuip, Union Street Festival, Fillmore Jazz Festival, and California Academy of Sciences NightLife.

Custom Printing

We printed hundreds of custom tees, hoodies, bags, and more this year, and opened a new print shop at the American Industrial Center in Dogpatch to keep things growing. We’re excited to continue collaborating and bringing custom ideas to life in the year ahead.
